I'd be very tempted to give Poyet a game tomorrow.

Only an idiot would pick the midfield you have.

Thankfully the manager wouldn't in a million years

Zarate was at the training ground today. Could he have been recalled?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

What you had a bet on Arsenal 12 West Ham 0

Re: Your team for Saturday?
Sir Alf

We could play Noble, Downing, Morgan and Jarvis in midfield.

A diamond, with Noble staying deep, Downing at the top, Jarvis and Morgan wide.

I buy the argument that Song has been carrying a knock but if that's what has been dogging him how do we know it's completely cleared up?

As I said, I like Song, top quality player but getting caught in possession and making stray passes straight to an opponent are not things you want to risk against Ozil, Sanchez, Cazorla, Flamini etc...

I wouldn't be surprised if Wenger has been studying the vids and told them to target Song.

Zarate can not be recalled

Simple as that

BFS said yesterday he was injured and wouldn't be fit to train until next week

Zarate has been back at Chadwell Heath this week not sure if he is injured or has been recalled would be a great addition to our frontline with the injuries to Cole & Valencia

I think Song has been carrying an injury and if there were not injuries to our CBs, I agree he does not warrant a recall. But needs must I guess.

Without Kouyate in midfield, our only mobile midfielder, we will be torn a new one as the Arsenal pass and move game makes us look like statues IMO.

We will see but I foresee 2 or 3 goal defeat looming.

Re: Your team for Saturday?
Checked injury website and it shows as date of return as 14/03.

Allardyce also puts players on the bench who aren't fit, look what happened to Carroll.

I don't think he will get on the pitch but purely be there to make the numbers up, as Allardyce has previously done.

Re: Your team for Saturday?
I'm one for not mucking about with players positions and those available to slot in should also be given their chance.
A number of permutations but would have Kouyate (our Toure and ball carrier) in midfield and feel a youngster to play alongside Collins.

Hammers1993 12:58 Fri Mar 13

Why do you have someone on the bench that has a hamstring injury?

whufcroe 1:03 Fri Mar 13
Re: Your team for Saturday?
Regardless of whether Song deserves his place back, we are short on numbers, he's hopefully over his knock and back to full fitness and will want to show Arsenal just what they are missing.
